Braised Mutton with Potatoes

Story

This simple braise brings together the earthy flavor of potatoes and the rich taste of lamb. Aromatic Sichuan peppercorns infuse the oil, while dark soy sauce adds a deep, savory color to the dish as it simmers gently.

Ingredients

Potato 1
Lamb 100g
Sichuan peppercorns to taste
Oil to taste
Salt 1 spoonful
Dark soy sauce to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the mutton into pieces

Peel, wash, and cut the potato into pieces

Heat oil and sauté the Sichuan peppercorns until fragrant

Stir-fry the mutton pieces

Add dark soy sauce and stir-fry

Add salt and an appropriate amount of water, then simmer for about fifteen minutes. (I added the water in three batches)
