Chocolate Banana French Toast Towers
Cubes of soft bread soak up a sweet custard of eggs, milk, and condensed milk, then get pan-fried until golden and stacked with fresh banana slices and melted chocolate. A cozy breakfast or dessert that's pure comfort.

Instructions
Soak the bread
Whisk together the eggs, milk, and condensed milk in a shallow bowl until smooth. Add the bread cubes and let them sit for 2-3 minutes, flipping halfway through so they soak up the custard evenly.
Fry until golden
Heat a splash of oil and a pat of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the soaked bread cubes in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they're golden brown and crisp on the outside. Work in batches if needed.
Assemble the towers
Layer the warm French toast cubes in serving bowls or on plates. Add a generous layer of fresh banana slices between the toast, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top. The heat from the toast will melt the chocolate slightly.
Serve immediately
Dust with a little powdered sugar if desired and serve right away while the toast is still warm and the chocolate is gooey.
