Chocolate Chip Cookie Push Pops

Ingredients

all-purpose flour 2-1/4 cup
baking soda 1 tsp
salt 1 tsp
butter (room temperature) 1 cup
granulated sugar 3/4 cup
brown sugar (packed) 3/4 cup
vanilla extract 2 tsp
large eggs 2
semi-sweet chocolate chips 3 cup
vanilla frosting (16 oz container) 1
chocolate chips (for layering) to taste

Instructions

1

Make the cookie dough

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

2

Bake

Spread the batter onto a greased jelly roll pan and bake for 15 to 17 minutes, or until lightly golden. Cool slightly, then use an empty push pop container to cut out circles.

3

Assemble

Place a small amount of vanilla frosting in the bottom of the push pop container. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top. Add a cookie circle. Repeat the layers until the container is full, finishing with frosting and a few chocolate chips.
