Ingredients

Crust - chocolate peanut butter sandwich cookies 12 pieces
Crust - unsalted butter (melted) 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick)
Topping - creamy peanut butter 1/3 cup
Topping - sweetened condensed milk 1 14-ounce can
Topping - sweetened shredded coconut 1 cup
Topping - peanut butter chips 3/4 cup
Topping - semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips 3/4 cup
Topping - unsalted peanuts 3/4 cup

Instructions

1

Preparation

Position the oven rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 350°F. Line the bottom of a 9-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil, allowing the foil to extend 2 inches beyond two opposite sides. Lightly butter

2

Make the crust

Place the cookies in the bowl of a food processor and process until fine crumbs form. Transfer the crumbs to a medium bowl and stir in the melted butter until evenly combined. Transfer the crumb mixture to the baking pan and press into an even layer

3

Make and layer the topping

Place the peanut butter in a medium bowl and add the sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup at a time, stirring until evenly combined. Sprinkle the coconut, peanut butter chips, semi-sweet chocolate chunks, and peanuts evenly over the crust. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk mixture evenly over the topping, leaving a 1/4-inch border around the edges of the pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until light golden and bubbly. Cool completely on a wire rack in the pan

4

Cut into bars

Using the foil edges as handles, lift the bars out of the baking pan. Carefully invert onto a baking sheet or cutting board. Peel off the foil and invert the bars again onto the cutting board. Cut into 16 bars with a sharp knife
