Ingredients

onion (chopped) 1 medium
butter 2 tablespoons
half-and-half cream 2 pints
condensed New England clam chowder (undiluted) 1 can (10-3/4 ounces)
potatoes (peeled and cubed) 3 medium
salt 1 teaspoon
white pepper 1/4 teaspoon
imitation crabmeat (flaked) 1 package (8 ounces)

Step 1

In a sauce pot, sauté the onion in butter until soft. Add the half-and-half cream and canned chowder; bring to a boil. Stir in the potatoes, salt, and pepper. Reduce the heat; simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Stir in the crabmeat and heat through.
