Prep the vegetables
Cut the onion into thin ribbons. Roughly chop the cilantro. Slice the red chilies into thin rounds. If the beef is in large pieces, slice it thinly against the grain.
Assemble in bowl
Place the sliced beef in a large mixing bowl. Add the onion, cilantro, and chilies on top.
Dress and toss
Drizzle the soy sauce over everything. Add the salt, sugar, and MSG. Toss everything together until well combined and the beef is nicely coated with the dressing.
Serve
