Savory Noodle Bowl with Ham, Fish Balls, and Egg

Story

This dish is the ultimate comfort meal for busy days. By infusing the broth first and cooking the proteins directly in the soup, you maximize flavor in just minutes. The crowning glory is a perfectly fried egg, which adds a rich, creamy texture when broken into the hot noodles.

Ingredients

Instant noodle block 1 pack
Seasoning packet 1
Dried vegetable mix 1 pack
Ham slices, diced 4-5
Fish balls 6-8
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Eggs 1-2
Water 3 cups

Instructions

1

Prepare the Broth

Bring 3 cups of water to a boil in a pot. Stir in the seasoning packet and dried vegetables. Let simmer for a minute to develop the flavor base.

2

Simmer Proteins

Add the cubed ham and fish balls to the seasoned broth. Cook for about 3 minutes, or until the fish balls are hot all the way through and tender.

3

Cook Noodles

Drop the noodle block into the pot. Boil for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to separate the strands, until the noodles are soft.

4

Fry the Egg

While the noodles are boiling, heat oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Crack in an egg and fry until the whites are crisp and the yolk is slightly runny. Place the egg on top of the noodles and serve hot.
