Cranberry Scones

Story

Freshly baked and golden brown, these scones offer a crumbly texture and a rich, buttery aroma. They are perfect for enjoying warm with a cup of tea or coffee, bringing a cozy touch to breakfast or an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

Cake flour
Whole egg liquid
Milk
Dried cranberries
Butter
Caster sugar
Salt
Baking powder

Instructions

Mix and sift the low-gluten flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add sugar and softened butter to the sifted flour.

Rub by hand until the butter and flour are completely mixed evenly, resembling coarse cornmeal.

Add the whole egg and milk to the flour.

Gently knead into a dough.

Pour in the dried cranberries and gently knead for 30 seconds. (Do not over-knead the dough)

Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a sheet 1.5 cm thick.
