Mix and sift the low-gluten flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add sugar and softened butter to the sifted flour.

Rub by hand until the butter and flour are completely mixed evenly, resembling coarse cornmeal.

Add the whole egg and milk to the flour.

Gently knead into a dough.

Pour in the dried cranberries and gently knead for 30 seconds. (Do not over-knead the dough)

Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into a sheet 1.5 cm thick.

Cut out the desired shapes.

Arrange the cut rounds on the baking sheet.

Brush a layer of whole egg on the surface.

Place into a preheated oven at 190 degrees.
