Cute Handmade Cookies
I don't have an oven at home, so I used a microwave with a baking function to make these little cookies, and they turned out pretty good!
Story
I don't have an oven at home, so I decided to use my microwave's baking function to whip up a batch of these little cookies. They turned out surprisingly delicious!
Ingredients
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients: flour, eggs, butter, condensed milk, milk, and sugar!
Step 2
After the butter softens, cut it into small pieces and melt it together with white sugar over a water bath. Doing this makes the resulting cookies finer in texture, and makes kneading the dough more convenient and effortless.
Step 3
Melt the butter and white sugar completely into a liquid, as shown in the picture.
Step 4
Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites and set aside. If you are not skilled at this, you can use an egg separator.
Step 5
Finely chop the raw peanuts and set aside. Adding them to the cookies makes the flavor richer. You can also add other ingredients such as shredded coconut, sliced almonds, or raisins.
Step 6
Wait for the butter to cool, then mix in the cake flour, Ovaltine, egg whites, milk, and peanuts all together.
Step 7
Knead the dough until it looks like this! Dividing it into three pieces is to make it easier to roll out.
Step 8
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, then use a cookie cutter to cut out cute little cookies one by one, as shown in the picture!
Step 9
Neatly arrange the successfully molded cookies on baking paper.
Step 10
Place into the microwave oven, select the baking function, and bake for 10 minutes. Brush a layer of egg yolk on them before baking; this will make the cookies fragrant and give them a great color.
Step 11
After 10 minutes, flip the small cookies over, brush a layer of egg yolk on the reverse side, and continue baking for about 5 minutes. My microwave oven is set to a constant temperature of 180 degrees Celsius. This picture is taken right before taking them out; they are already golden.
Step 12
Finally, after taking them out of the oven and letting them cool, they can be stored in a jar. They are just as good as store-bought ones and are very delicious.
