Ingredients

Wheat starch 200 g
Glutinous rice flour 50 g
Sugar 30 g
Lard 10 g
Boiling water 150 g
Black sesame filling (toast black sesame, grind into powder, mix with sugar and leaf lard until combined) 150 g
Cocoa powder a pinch

Instructions

1

Step 1

Combine the wheat starch, glutinous rice flour, sugar, and lard in a bowl and mix well. Pour in the boiling water to scald the mixture, then knead into a smooth dough. Take a small piece of dough, add the cocoa powder, and knead until it becomes a brown dough.

2

Step 2

Roll the white dough into a long rope, divide it into small portions, and wrap each piece around a small amount of the brown dough.

3

Step 3

Wrap a portion of the black sesame filling inside, seal the opening, and roll into a smooth ball.

4

Step 4

Shape each ball into a peach form, narrower at the top and wider at the bottom.

5

Step 5

Dilute a little cocoa powder with a small amount of water, dip the teeth of a wooden comb into the mixture, and draw vertical lines onto the raw buns from the bottom upward to create the finished shapes.

6

Step 6

Place the prepared buns into a steamer and steam over high heat for 4 minutes.
