White fish (cut into large pieces, washed and patted dry) 480 g
Potatoes (peeled, sliced thinly, soaked in cold water briefly, drained) 3-4
Lemon (1 sliced, half cut into wedges) 1/2
Flat-leaf parsley, minced 1 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Black pepper 1/4 tsp
Flour (plain flour) 2 tbsp
Butter 8 tbsp
Salad oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

1

Prepare the potatoes

Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Soak in cold water briefly, then drain well.

Heat 6 tbsp of the butter in a pan. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer and fry until cooked through. Cover and cook on high heat for 20 minutes.

3

Season the fish

Cut the fish into large pieces, wash and pat dry. Toss with salt and pepper, then coat with flour.

4

Fry the fish

Heat the salad oil in a pan. Add the fish pieces and fry until golden brown and cooked through on both sides. Finally add 2 tbsp butter to enhance the flavor.

5

Prepare the lemon

Slice 1 lemon and cut the remaining half into wedges.

6

Plate up

Arrange the potatoes and lemon slices around the edge of the plate. Place the fried fish in the center, add the lemon wedges, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
