Garden Stir-Fried Broccoli

This garden-style stir-fry brings together bright broccoli and tender carrot slices in a light, glossy sauce. It comes together quickly in a hot wok, making it a fresh and colorful addition to any weeknight meal.

Step 1
Process the main ingredient broccoli, wash it clean, then blanch and set aside to bring out a bright color.

Cut the carrot and set aside.
Step 3
Heat the wok with cool oil.
Step 4
First add the carrot slices and scallion whites; do not wait for the oil to get very hot before stir-frying, or it will burn in a minute.
Step 5
Add the broccoli, stir-fry for two or three minutes, stir evenly, add an appropriate amount of salt and white sugar. Pour in a little water starch slurry from the side of the wok.
Step 6
The quick stir-fry is done! Go cook another one.
