Golden Thread Sea Crab
A Beijing-style dish featuring marinated crab pieces fried until golden and topped with crispy egg threads—an attractive presentation with a crisp, fragrant bite.

Sea crab (cleaned, remove inedible parts, cut into pieces)

Step 1
Clean the sea crab, remove inedible parts such as claws and shell, cut into 4 pieces, add cooking wine, scallion, ginger, MSG, and salt, marinate briefly, then remove scallion and ginger, coat with starch.

Heat the pot, add oil, fry the beaten egg liquid in warm oil until it forms golden threads, then drain the oil.

Leave some base oil in the pot, heat to 60-70% hot, add crab pieces and fry until golden brown, remove and arrange on a plate.

Sprinkle the fried golden threads on the plate, serve with a bowl of sauce made from minced ginger, vinegar, and sesame oil for dipping.
