Story

When making steamed blood cake, be prepared to dedicate a cloth solely to this dish; once used for steaming, the cloth will never wash completely white again.

Ingredients

goose blood 300g
glutinous rice 500g
corn flour to taste
minced peanuts to taste
sweet bean sauce to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Add salt to fresh goose blood.

Soak glutinous rice in advance for more than half an hour.

Prepare cornmeal.

Add the cornmeal to the fresh goose blood and mix well; set aside.

Place the soaked glutinous rice on a steamer rack and steam until cooked.

Remove the steamed glutinous rice from the steamer rack.

Pour the glutinous rice into the goose blood and cornmeal mixture and mix well.

Once mixed well, place it back into the steamer rack and steam for 20 minutes.
