Hand-Pinched Dough Pieces
Jiu Gedda is simple to prepare, with a delightfully chewy, firm texture. After boiling, rinse it under cold water, then pair it with sesame paste, fried bean paste, or egg and tomato sauce. It is an ideal dish for hot summer weather.

Add the salt and water to the flour.

Stir until the mixture forms flakes.

Knead by hand into a smooth dough, then cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes.

First add an appropriate amount of salt to the sesame paste.

Then add the water in small increments, stirring well before each addition.
Step 6
Stir until the sesame paste reaches a pourable consistency.

Add water to the breakfast maker and bring to a boil.

Holding the dough in one hand, pinch off small pieces with the other and drop them into the pot.
Step 9
Cover with a lid and bring to a boil.
Step 10
Once cooked through, remove from the pot.

Transfer to cold water to cool.

Add the prepared sauce and sesame paste, and it is ready to serve.
