Hawthorn (boiled for concentrated juice, strained)

Japonica rice

Extract the juice
First, simmer the hawthorn in an earthenware pot to extract a concentrated juice, then strain out the solids.

Then add the japonica rice and sugar to the juice and cook into a porridge.
