Instructions
Prepare the Gelatin
Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water until soft. If using powder, follow the packet instructions to bloom.
Make the Milk Layer
Heat the milk in a saucepan until warm (do not boil). Squeeze out the excess water from the gelatin and add it to the warm milk, stirring until completely dissolved. Add sugar to your liking. Pour into your chosen container and chill in the fridge until set.
Make the Juice Layer
Heat the fruit juice gently. Add the remaining gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Sweeten with sugar if necessary. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before pouring over the set milk layer.
Set and Serve
Return the container to the refrigerator to chill completely until the juice layer is firm. Once set, cut into cubes or scoop into bowls to serve.
