Story

These ribs are first deep-fried until golden and then coated in a glossy sauce made from rock sugar, soy sauce, and honey. A touch of lemon juice adds brightness to the rich, sticky glaze, making this a satisfying dish for any everyday meal.

Ingredients

Pork ribs to taste
Cooking wine to taste
Honey to taste
Rock sugar to taste
Light soy sauce to taste
Dark soy sauce a small amount
Lemon to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the ribs, pour in cooking wine, and marinate for half an hour; put light soy sauce and a small amount of dark soy sauce in a small bowl to make the sauce and set aside.

Step 2

Heat oil in the pan, add the ribs and deep-fry until golden yellow, then remove. Over low heat, add rock sugar and stir until it melts, then pour in the ribs and sauce to stir-fry when it starts to bubble.

Add honey and lemon juice before serving.
