Story

Nothing beats the classic combination of peanuts and chocolate. These cookies are perfect for an afternoon treat or a lunchbox surprise.

Ingredients

Softened Butter 150g
Creamy Peanut Butter 120g
Granulated Sugar 100g
Egg Yolks 2 large
Cake Flour 200g
Baking Powder 3g
Salt 1 pinch
Chocolate Chips 80g

Instructions

1

Cream the Butter

Place the softened butter in a large mixing bowl. Add the sugar and a pinch of salt. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer until it becomes pale and fluffy.

2

Add Peanut Butter and Egg

Mix in the peanut butter until fully incorporated and smooth. Add the egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition to ensure the mixture emulsifies.

3

Combine Dry Ingredients

Sift the cake flour and baking powder into the wet mixture. Use a spatula to fold the ingredients together initially, then switch to the electric mixer to blend until no dry streaks remain.

4

Shape and Bake

Stir in the chocolate chips. Scoop rounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
