Pork Ribs Rice

Story

A convenient rice cooker version of claypot rice. Since it is not cooked over an open fire, it is considered less 'heating' to the body, but the flavor is excellent.

Ingredients

Rice 250g
Pork Ribs 450g
Light Soy Sauce 2 tsp
Haitian Rice Mixing Sauce 1 tbsp
White Sugar to taste
Cooking Oil to taste
Ginger to taste
Green Onions 2 stalks

Prepare all ingredients.

Peel the ginger and shred it.

Wash the green onions and chop them into scallions.

Wash the pork ribs and cut them into small pieces.

Add white sugar and light soy sauce and mix well.

Add a little cooking oil, mix well, and marinate for 30 minutes.

Wash the rice, add an appropriate amount of water, and press the cook button on the rice cooker.

When the water starts to boil slightly, add the marinated ribs, cover, and cook until the rice is done. Add the mixing sauce while hot, stir well, and serve.
