Prepare the ingredients
Peel off the old membrane from the onion, remove the stem, wash, and dice. Wash the tomato, remove the stem and skin, and dice. Dice the sausages. Peel the garlic cloves, wash, and mince them. Wash the basil leaves and chop them finely.
Cook the pasta
Place a pot over the heat, pour in an appropriate amount of water, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add the lasagna sheets and cook until about 80% done. Remove and drain well, transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly.
Make the sausage sauce
Place a skillet over the heat, add the butter and let it melt. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Add the diced sausages and diced tomato and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes. Stir in the tomato sauce, fine sugar, chopped basil, and 200 ml of water, bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low and simmer until the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat, sprinkle in the cheese powder and chopped parsley, and stir to combine to make the sausage sauce.
Assemble and bake
Take a baking dish and lay down a layer of lasagna sheets. Spread a layer of the sausage sauce on top, then place a cheese slice over it. Repeat with another layer of lasagna sheets, sauce, and cheese, continuing until all the lasagna sheets are used up. Finish with a cheese slice on top. Transfer to an oven preheated to 175°C and bake for 20 to 30 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
