Spicy Braised Dried Tofu

This quick dish comes together in minutes, filling the kitchen with the aroma of seared tofu and toasted chilies. The braised tofu absorbs the savory sauce while retaining a slightly chewy texture, making it a flavorful addition to any simple meal.

Ingredients

Dried tofu 100g
Scallion to taste
Dried chili to taste
Soy sauce a little
Salt to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the dried tofu clean and cut into wide strips

Wash the green onions clean and cut into sections, prepare the dried chili peppers

Heat the wok, add an appropriate amount of oil, and when the oil is hot, place the dried tofu in the wok and pan-fry over medium heat

Pan-fry the dried tofu until both sides are golden yellow

Add half a bowl of water to the wok, add a little soy sauce, stir-fry a couple of times, add dried chili peppers, bring to a boil over high heat and braise for 5 minutes
