Sweet and Sour Tofu

Story

This quick dish features crispy tofu cubes simmered in a vibrant, glossy sauce. The balance of sweet and savory flavors, finished with toasted sesame seeds and fresh green onion, makes for a satisfying and aromatic meal.

Ingredients

Firm tofu 1 piece
Toasted white sesame seeds to taste
Ketchup 3 tbsp
White vinegar 1.5 tbsp
Light soy sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Starch a little
Salt to taste
Green onion 1 stalk
Corn oil to taste

Instructions

Soak a block of tofu in clear water for a while

Cut into small pieces

Heat oil in a pan, fry the tofu over low heat until both sides are golden yellow, then remove and set aside

Make the sauce: 3 spoons of ketchup, 1 spoon of light soy sauce, 1 spoon of white sugar, 1.5 spoons of white vinegar, appropriate amount of salt, a little starch, 5 spoons of water
