Story

Creamy nuggets of white chocolate and crunchy bits of walnut turn a simple cookie into something special. The blend of granulated and brown sugar melts into a deep, butterscotch sweetness, making every bite feel like a warm indulgence straight from the oven.

Ingredients

Unsalted Butter 125g (4 oz)
Granulated Sugar 60g (2 oz)
Brown Sugar 75g (2.5 oz)
Egg 1
Vanilla Extract 1 tsp
All-Purpose Flour 180g (6 oz)
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
White Chocolate (cut into bean-sized pieces) 150g (3 oz)
Walnuts (chopped) 60g (2 oz)

Instructions

Step 1

Heat the butter until melted, then mix in 2 spoons of sugar and beat until soft and fluffy. Lightly mix the egg and vanilla extract together, then slowly add to the butter mixture little by little.

Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt together, then mix into the butter-egg mixture from step 2. Next, fold in the chopped chocolate and nuts.

Roll the dough into 3.5 cm (1.5 inch) small balls and place them on baking paper, spaced 2.5 cm (1 inch) apart. Flatten the dough with the palm of your hand.

Place in a preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. After baking, let cool on the baking paper for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
