White Fungus and Goji Berry Eye-Brightening Soup

Ingredients

White fungus (washed, torn into small pieces, soaked in water) 15 g
Goji berries (washed) 15 g
Chicken liver (washed, sliced thin) 100 g
Jasmine flowers (stems removed, washed) 24
Water chestnut starch to taste
Cooking wine to taste
Ginger juice to taste
Salt to taste
MSG to taste
Clear broth to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Wash the chicken liver and slice it into thin pieces. Place in a bowl, add the water chestnut starch, cooking wine, ginger juice, and salt, mix well, and set aside.

Wash the white fungus, tear it into small pieces, soak in clean water, and set aside. Remove the stems from the jasmine flowers, wash them, and arrange on a plate. Wash the goji berries and set aside.

Place a pot over heat, add the clear broth along with the cooking wine, ginger juice, salt, and MSG. Immediately add the white fungus, chicken liver, and goji berries, and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam. Once the chicken liver is just cooked through, ladle into a bowl and sprinkle the jasmine flowers on top to serve.
