Aged Vinegar Peanuts
Crunchy fried peanuts marinated in aged vinegar and sugar for a sweet-and-sour flavor — a classic snack to enjoy with drinks.
Ingredients
peanuts (fried)
as needed
onion (diced)
as needed
green pepper (diced)
as needed
Chinkiang vinegar (do not use white vinegar)
half a small bowl
sugar (dissolved into the vinegar)
two tablespoons
salt
a pinch
sesame oil
as needed
Instructions

Fry the peanuts
Fry the peanuts until done.

Marinate the vegetables
Dice the onion and green pepper, sprinkle with salt, and marinate briefly.

Prepare the vinegar sauce
Half a small bowl of Chinkiang vinegar, two tablespoons of sugar; dissolve the sugar into the vinegar, then add a pinch of salt and some sesame oil.

Mix well
Combine steps 1 and 2 together, and it's done. Best eaten the same day it's made.
