This comforting home-style dish features finely diced pork belly slow-cooked to release its rich, savory flavors. Simmered until perfectly tender, the resulting aromatic sauce is absolutely ideal for ladling over a warm bowl of steamed rice.

Ingredients

pork belly (washed and cut into small cubes) 1000g
MSG 1 tsp
soy sauce 1/5 bottle
rock sugar 200g
fried shallots 100g
mixed stewing spice packet 1 small packet
water 2 bowls

Instructions

Cut meat

Wash the pork belly, cut into fine dices, and set aside (Pic 1, Pic 2)

Stir-fry

Put the diced pork belly into a pot and stir-fry briefly until fragrant, remove and set aside once it changes color

Braise

Simmer the braising spices over low heat until boiling, add the stir-fried diced pork belly, maintain low heat, and slowly stew until flavorful (Pic 3)
