Ingredients

noodles as needed
chicken breast as needed
chili pepper as needed
green vegetables as needed

Instructions

1

Step 1

Prepare the shredded meat: cut the chicken breast into thin strips, place in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and light soy sauce, mix well by hand, and set aside. You can marinate it in the refrigerator.

2

Step 2

Cut the chili peppers into thin strips, smash and chop the garlic, and set aside. Choose chili peppers according to your preference; a medium heat works best.

3

Step 3

Heat oil in a wok, add the chicken shreds and stir-fry. Once all the meat shreds change color, add the chopped garlic and stir-fry evenly. Then add a little sweet bean sauce and light soy sauce to season.

4

Step 4

Push the meat shreds to one side, and use the oil in the wok to stir-fry the chili pepper shreds briefly. Then mix them together with the meat shreds. Finally, add some salt and oyster sauce to season—the chili pepper shredded meat is ready.

5

Step 5

If serving tossed with noodles, the seasoning should be a bit saltier, otherwise the noodles won't taste as good.

6

Step 6

Cook the noodles. Crab Sister uses fresh noodles—add the noodles once the water boils, add water again after it comes back to a boil, and the noodles will be done. You can add some green vegetables to cook together with the noodles.

7

Step 7

Once the noodles are cooked, scoop them into a bowl and serve with the stir-fried shredded meat. Mix the meat shreds with the noodles before eating. Shredded meat noodles paired with a cup of soy milk or milk also make a great breakfast.
