Ingredients

dark chocolate (chopped) 75 g
plain flour 150 g
baking powder 1.5 tsp
coarsely chopped peanuts 150 g
salt 1/4 tsp
butter 150 g
fine white sugar 100 g
light brown sugar 50 g
eggs 3
fresh milk 75 ml
topping: butter 1 tbsp
topping: peanut butter 1 tbsp
topping: dark chocolate 90 g
topping: honey 1 tbsp

Instructions

1

Mix the Dry Ingredients

Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

2

Melt the Chocolate

Finely chop the dark chocolate and place it in a bowl. Set the bowl over hot water and stir until the chocolate melts, then let it cool.

3

Make the Butter and Sugar Mixture

Cream the butter with the fine white sugar and light brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs slightly, then fold in the peanuts.

4

Make the Batter

Add the dry ingredients from Step 1 and the milk to the mixture in two batches, mixing until combined.

5

Add the Chocolate Mixture

Divide the batter into two portions and mix one portion with the melted chocolate.

6

Fill the Molds

Line a muffin pan with baking parchment. Spoon the two batters into separate sections of the pan, then gently swirl them with a fork to create a marbled pattern.

7

Bake

Place the pan in a preheated oven and bake at 190°C for about 25 minutes. Remove and let cool.

8

Make the Topping

Place the topping ingredients in a bowl, set it over hot water, and stir until melted. Pour the topping over the cake.
