Story

Cold Dressed Malantou is a classic spring dish. The wild Malantou greens are blanched, squeezed dry, and mixed with savory spiced tofu.

Ingredients

Malantou (Kalimeris indica) 150g
Spiced Dried Tofu (Tea tofu) 1 piece
Salt to taste
Cooking Oil to taste
Seasonings to taste

Instructions

Step 1

Pick Malantou in the wild.

Wash the harvested Malantou thoroughly with clean water.

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add some salt and oil. Blanch the washed Malantou.

Cool the blanched Malantou under cold water, then squeeze dry by hand.

Mix the diced dried tofu and chopped Malantou together. Add your favorite seasonings, mix well, and serve.
