Story

This porridge combines soaked grains and beans with wheat germ for a gentle, wholesome bowl. The grains are cooked first, then the wheat germ is stirred in near the end so its aroma stays clear and the texture remains smooth.

Ingredients

Red-skinned peanuts 15g
Red beans 15g
Mung beans 15g
Coix seeds 15g
Mei beans 15g
Rice 15g
Wheat germ 10g
White sugar 20g

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the red-skinned peanuts, red beans, mung beans, coix seeds, mei beans, rice, wheat germ, and white sugar.

Wash the red-skinned peanuts, red beans, mung beans, coix seeds, mei beans, and rice, then soak them for 30 minutes.

Drain the soaked ingredients, place them in the rice cooker, and add an appropriate amount of water.

Press the porridge setting and cook for about 45 minutes. When it is done, stir well with a spoon.

Add the wheat germ, stir evenly, leave the lid open, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Add the white sugar when serving and mix well.
