Ingredients

Large Onions 16
Wine Vinegar 0.03 L
Red Wine 0.075 L
Sugar 400 g
Pomegranate Juice 0.04 L

Instructions

Step 1

Peel and slice the onions. Stir-fry them in a non-stick pan over low heat, uncovered, for 5 minutes.

Pour in the wine vinegar and red wine and continue cooking. Reduce to one-third of the volume, then add the sugar and pomegranate juice. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.

While hot, transfer to jam pots and seal with cellophane. Once cooled, it can be served with game, boiled meat, or even lamb and cheese.
