Ingredients

beef (washed and cut into thick strips) as needed
egg (beaten) 1 piece
starch (add water to make egg batter) as needed
white sesame seeds (used to coat beef strips) as needed
salt (for marinating) to taste
MSG (for marinating) to taste
white sugar (for marinating) to taste
cooking oil (for frying) as needed

Instructions

Marinate the beef

Wash the beef and cut into thick strips, marinate with salt, MSG, and white sugar for 5 minutes.

Coat with batter

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add starch and water to mix into an egg batter, then coat the beef strips with the batter, and finally dredge with white sesame seeds.

Deep-fry

Pour oil into a wok and heat it up, add the sesame-coated beef, deep-fry over low heat until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, remove and plate to serve.
