Okara Raisin Mantou
Quick, no-fuss recipe for soy pulp raisin steamed buns, created to use up flour that had been infested with insects: raisins are folded into the dough, which is rolled, cut, and steamed for a delicious, nutritious outcome. Leftover soy pulp from making soy milk is mixed into the flour for extra nutrition.

Prepare the main ingredients: flour, bean pulp, and yeast.

Add an appropriate amount of warm water to the bean pulp, then add the yeast and stir well.

Pour the mixed liquid from the previous step into the flour and gently stir with chopsticks.

Stir until it forms a flocculent texture.

Knead by hand into a smooth dough (smooth bowl, smooth hands, smooth dough).

Cover and place in a warm spot to ferment until doubled in size.

Take out the dough and knead it repeatedly until smooth.

Roll the dough out into a sheet of even thickness.

Sprinkle a layer of raisins on top.
