Onion Tuna Dumplings

Ingredients

Tuna can (small can, drained and mashed) 1 can
Diced onion 3 tbsp
Egg white 1
Carrot dumpling wrappers 15
Spinach dumpling wrappers (cut into strips) 2
White dumpling wrappers (rolled into rounds) 1
Salt 2 tsp
White pepper powder 3 tsp
Sugar 2/3 tbsp
Butter (for greasing the baking tray) to taste

Instructions

1

Make the filling

Open the tuna can and drain the liquid, then press it into fine crumbs. Add the diced onion, egg white, and all seasonings, and mix well to complete the filling.

2

Wrap the dumplings

Take an appropriate amount of filling and wrap it in a carrot dumpling wrapper, fold in half to secure and seal the edges. Arrange neatly on a butter-greased baking tray.

3

Decoration

Cut the spinach dumpling wrappers into about 0.3 cm strips, dip in water and stick them onto the dumplings from step 2. Roll the white dumpling wrappers into rounds, dip in water and place them on top of the spinach dumpling wrappers.

4

Baking

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the baking tray in the middle rack and bake for 12-15 minutes until done.
