Peach Gum Snow Lotus Seed White Fungus Soup
A sweet, nourishing soup made with soaked peach gum, snow lotus seeds, and white fungus, simmered with red dates and goji berries until soft and gelatinous.
Story
This warm, collagen-rich dessert is best enjoyed fresh from the pot, offering a gentle sweetness and a pleasantly thick, gelatinous texture that feels comforting and soothing.
Ingredients
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the peach gum, snow lotus seeds, tremella, goji berries, and red dates; the rock sugar was not photographed.
Step 2
Soak the peach gum overnight first; this is after soaking and washing.
Step 3
Soak the tremella; it soaked for two or three hours.
Step 4
Soak the snow lotus seeds the night before; they soaked for about 15 hours.
Step 5
Put the peach gum, snow lotus seeds, tremella, and red dates into the rice cooker (using a stewing pot is better, but I used a rice cooker because I made a large amount), press the porridge key, and stew for two to three hours; add the goji berries and rock sugar twenty minutes before finishing, adjusting the sweetness to your preference.
Step 6
Enjoy a bowl while it is hot.
Step 7
Full of collagen; it is said to be good for beauty.
