Ingredients

pig ears as needed
Chinese shallot as needed
minced garlic as needed
bird's eye chili as needed
star anise as needed
bay leaf as needed
ginger as needed

Instructions

Blanch the pig ears in cold water, then remove and rinse clean.

Add the pig ears, ginger slices, bay leaf, star anise, and light soy sauce.

Add an appropriate amount of water, set the rice cooker to rice cooking mode, and braise the pig ears until fully cooked.
